Get ready, golf fans! The 2025 Australian Open is shaping up to be a must-see event, with some incredible pairings already confirmed. This year, the tournament returns to Royal Melbourne for the first time since 1991, promising a thrilling experience for players and spectators alike.
The spotlight will undoubtedly be on the super group featuring Aussie stars Adam Scott and Min Woo Lee, alongside none other than Rory McIlroy. They'll kick things off on Thursday at 7:05 am from the 10th tee. This is a powerhouse trio, and their performance will be one of the highlights of the opening round. On Friday, they'll tee off at 12:05 pm from the first tee, giving fans a prime afternoon viewing opportunity.
But that's not all! Another exciting group includes Cam Smith, joined by fellow Aussie Elvis Smylie and Danny Willett. They'll begin their tournament at 7:15 am on Thursday, also from the 10th tee, and will play at 12:15 pm on Friday.
Other notable pairings to watch include Marc Leishman, teeing off in the morning alongside Joel Girrbach and Ugo Coussaud, and Cam Davis, who will play with Abraham Ancer and Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen.
